Business as we hear the word we automatically go to the one set up by our parents that was given to them by their fathers and would be given down to us at least this is the scenario of India as it is seen in most of the households. But now we are living in 21 century we need to open our minds to great lengths as the generation is progressing fast as a bullet train one time you learn a new thing the other second the younger new the thing that is 10 times better then the last.
Now coming to business of 21 century it is mostly occupied by the online mode that is e- commerce . Now it contains – Amazon, Flipkart, Nikka , Go daddy , Just dial and many more these are the various platforms that is used to get anything from anywhere around the world or from our neighbourhood and is only required one thing that is internet connection and ready money with you in your account as there is also an option of online payments here. Most of the today’s generation is buying their daily goods such as clothes, bags, cosmetics from them only they do not go around in different stores to search for their items and also at reasonable prices . If we ask any person who wants to set his own business they just simply say – lets make a website and get started with it they do not even think about others ways of doing it .
In my opinion the reason for this is that today’s world is connected to each other through this internet only , if we do not use it we feel like we do not belong to this world like aliens other people think us as from other century or old that we are not familiar with internet. If we look at most of the businessmen they are always trying to expand their business through online mode by making other people aware of their work.
There are many benefits of having online business – global access 24×7 , great flexibility, less paper work, professionalism is high , when there are competitors in the market with help of knowledge of different software you can make sure that your business is up to date with today’s generation, can get workers easily as they also want to work where there is more chances of profit as business has number one rule – do not do business without profit so most of the people have this in mind and work to attain it.
But if we are looking at the positive we need to look at negative as someone has said there is always 2 side of a story. Now looking at the problems faced in online business the first in my opinion or in any one else is that you need to have that kind of money as the development of a website only takes lakhs of money this is just the starting but then comes employee pay, their bonus, keeping the standard of your website by using different software that comes around , the second important thing is to keep calm as it is not a project that will take a few days or months even it will at least take 2-3 years of your life and if you are not that kind of person then online business is not your goal and if you have keep in mind that you have to keep this for your entire life and not give up on this anytime as most people use all their savings in it .
So it is not everyone ‘s cup of tea we need to make decisions that will not effect our future or at least our lives . So do that business that is in your reach it is not bad to have business that is not online as many Indians still have it and are happy with it and its results. If you are not able to make your decisions then ask those who have experience and use their advice as guide to your future .
